Three men have been arrested in connection with the April
homicide of Herbert L. Brown Jr, 32, of the 6200 block of Claypoint
Road in Chesterfield County. The trio turned themselves into police earlier
today.
William H. Lee II, 31, of the 5500 block of Spoke Court
in Chesterfield County, is charged with shooting into an occupied
vehicle causing a death and use of a firearm in the commission of a
felony.
Malcolm A. Gordon, 30, of the 100 block of Wilson Street
in Portsmouth, and Corey L. Boston, 32, of the 1400 block of Talley
Circle in Portsmouth, are charged with accessory after the fact.

At approximately 2:44 a.m. on April 10, officers were called
to the 200 block of North 8th Street after receiving a report from a
bystander that shots had been fired in the area. Brown was found in the
driver’s seat of vehicle parked beside the curb. He was pronounced dead at the
scene.
