The Richmond Police Department, with the assistance of the Chesterfield Police Department and the U.S. Marshal’s Regional Fugitive Task Force, has arrested a Midlothian man in connection with this weekend’s homicide.

Faris, 37, of the
13600 block of Quail Hollow Lane, Midlothian, was arrested Monday morning
without incident. Faris has been charged with possession of a firearm by a
convicted felon in connection with the homicide. Other charges are pending. His
photo is attached.
At approximately
8:28 p.m., Saturday, officers were called to the 2100 block of Brookhaven Road
for the report of a person shot. Officers arrived and found Carlos Terry,
36, of the 4100 block of Norborne Road in a vehicle suffering from
an apparent gunshot wound. Terry was transported to a local hospital where
early Sunday he died.
The Medical
Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.
