The Richmond Police Department has identified the person who died as a result of a domestic incident and shooting that occurred in a home on Tanby Road last week.
At approximately
10:08 p.m., Tuesday, July 11, officers responded to the 3600 block of Tanby
Road for the report of a person shot. Officers arrived and found a male,
Syed K. Haider, 53, of the 3600 block of Tanby Road, suffering from an
apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he died.
The Medical
Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.
