Officers will be on hand with crime prevention materials and children’s fingerprinting ID kits. The kickoff party will also include free food.

In addition to the kickoff event, a ceremonial signing will take place at 10 a.m. to launch the partnership with The Richmond Police Department and U.S. Army for the Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS) Program. The PaYS Program helps provide job opportunities within the police department for Soldiers after completing their service to the country.
“What better way to continue to help keep our community safe than recruiting these reservists as well as Soldiers who are at the end of their service for the U.S. Army,” said Chief Alfred Durham.
