Victim Identified in North Avenue Death Investigation

The Richmond Police Department has identified the female who died during a triple stabbing last night on North Avenue as Vivian L. Robinson, 50, of the 4300 block of North Avenue.


At approximately 11:53 p.m., officers were called to a residence in the 3300 block of North Avenue for the report of an argument and persons stabbed. Officers arrived and found four individuals who were involved in the incident, a male and three females. The three females had suffered from stab wounds. Two were transported to a local hospital with injuries that were not considered life threatening and Robinson was pronounced dead at the scene.  The Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.


Detectives have opened a death investigation for this incident and are consulting with the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office to determine possible charges.
