Identity of Suspect Sought for Inappropriate Touching of a Female

Richmond Police detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify a man wanted for the inappropriate touching of a female in August.

At approximately 7:30 p.m., on August 18, a female employee of Restaurante y Taqueria Panchito, located at 6531 Midlothian Turnpike, reported the male in the photos grabbed her buttocks while the suspect and the employee were near the exit doors of the establishment. The suspect then ran to an orange and white U-Haul pick-up truck and drove away.

Detectives had initially asked patrol officers to help identify the individual but now have extended their request for assistance to the public.

The suspect is a black male, approximately six feet tall and weighing approximately 190 pounds. He wore a white tank top and black athletic shorts that had white stripes on the sides.
