Suspect Sought in Shockoe Valley Market Robbery

The Richmond Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify the man in the photos who is a suspect in a robbery at the Shockoe Valley Market.
Yesterday at approximately 1: 13 p.m. the suspect walked into the convenience store, located at 311 N. 18th St., brandished a firearm and robbed a store employee of cash and a box of cigars.

He fled on foot eastbound on East Marshall Street. There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as a black male with a goatee, approximately six feet tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds. He wore a grey hooded sweatshirt, jeans and black boots.
